Today I went to pull some tall grasses and stuff from around the center of the garden. All of the rain has made it grow out of control. I got almost the entire garden done and had worked my way to the center when the grasses began moving. Oh! I thought - A snake! But no, it was a nest of turtles! They had been eating well on the tomatoes and living the good life there in the center of the garden. So, I left them alone and decided that whatever we get from around them will be just fine. I then stumbled on what I believe is mullein. It is a wonderful medicinal plant for respiratory uses. An exciting day in the garden!
