I ain’t looking for comfort
In the chaos of kingdoms
Where looking glass contorts
Your heart and your freedom
You had your reasons
And I cast my doubt
In the changing of seasons
Lost and left out
So I wander to still waters
To wrestle with pain
The looking glass blurs
With the falling of rain
I stand by the waters
Like a trestle without train
The looking glass is sure
I’ll not shine again
In the chaos of forest
Branches bend in the wind
They’ll be no rest
Till I struggle again
The valley looks kinder
Upon this mountain ridge
Just another reminder
Of the crossing of bridge
So I rest by still waters
To dream away the pain
The looking glass blurs
With the falling of rain
I stand by the waters
Like a trestle without train
The looking glass is sure
I’ll not shine again
